The City of Overland Park has a full-time Intern, Human Resources Wellness Program position available in the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities: Will provide assistance to the Benefits team, focused on Wellness Programs & Initiatives. Research employee wellness best practices and initiatives. Responsible for supporting and fostering innovative programs and policies that help cultivate a culture of total well-being, wellness and work life balance. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Requirements: Current college Junior, Senior, or Gradate student with an interest in wellness and Human Resources All intern candidates MUST be currently enrolled students in an accredited college or university Transcripts will be requested prior to initial interview (unofficial transcripts will suffice) Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Experience working with Canva or other similar software helpful, but not required No City residency requirement. Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, physical exam and essential functions test.
