Emanuel MCCrainey, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City
Emanuel McCrainey is the Department Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion & Talent Acquisition for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. He earned an MBA from Webster University and is a Certified HR Project Manager. Emanuel has worked in various Human Resources Leadership roles over his 27-year career and he is a United States Army Veteran where he proudly served his country while on assignment in the Gulf War. Additionally, Emanuel has practiced Human Resources in government, publicly traded, and privately held organizations; and as a Chief Negotiator for a global manufacturing organization, Emanuel negotiated several Labor Contracts with various Labor Unions without business disruption and successfully led union avoidance campaigns.
Katrice Lanier, University of Kansas Health System
Katrice Lanier is the System Director for Talent Acquisition at the University of Kansas Health System. Katrice joined the health system August 7, 2017. She has over 17 years of Human Resources experience in the healthcare industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and she completed her Master’s in Adult Education with a human resources concentration at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She was born and raised in New York City and her experience of being around a wide array of different people as fueled her commitment and dedication to diversity. Katrice is passionate about leadership and uses her role as a leader to mentor, coach and empower people to be the best version of themselves.
Kristi Jones, Spring Venture Group
Kristi is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Spring Venture Group where she leads a team of recruiters and HR coordinators to develop, build and deliver innovative hiring and onboarding strategies to align with SVG’s vision, mission, and values. Kristi brings over 20 years of human resources experience, specializing in talent acquisition. She is the Past State Director for MO SHRM and has been a SHRM volunteer and member since 2002. She started volunteering on the SHRM of Greater Kansas City board prior to joining the MO SHRM State Council. Kristi also sits on the board of advisors for TeamKC, which is KC region’s authority on promoting Kansas City as a destination for talent.
